Xinhongqiao Central Garden.

Xinhongqiao Central Garden is located in the Hongqiao Economic Development Zone in Shanghai, covering an area of about 130,000 square meters. The central lake has a water area of 10,000 square meters and has been rated as a "four-star park in Shanghai". The garden is mainly composed of plant landscapes, mainly trees, including Canary Island date palms, zelkova trees, ginkgo, camphor trees, magnolia grandiflora, osmanthus, Sapium sebiferum, golden mimosa, cedar, green tung, Melia azedarach, and Liquidambar formosana; shrubs include osmanthus, cherry blossoms, Photinia, Pinus bungeana, Euonymus japonicus, Cassia obtusifolia, Myrica rubra, wintersweet, Malus spectabilis, Prunus cerasifera, rhododendron, Jasminum nudiflorum, Loropetalum chinense, and Pyracantha. The garden is connected by streams and lakes of different heights and winding roads of different widths. The garden is divided into five scenic spots, namely the central fountain, both sides of the Yan'an Elevated Road, the lake pavilion, the east mountain, and the west mountain. The central fountain is composed of perennial flower beds on both sides, and deciduous trees are combined with evergreen shrubs and large lawns; the sides of the Yan'an Elevated Road are covered by Italian poplars, arranged from high to low, and the hard parts of the elevated road are covered by osmanthus, camphor trees, Malus spectabilis, etc. The plant landscape; the lake pavilion is composed of pavilions, platforms, nine-curved bridges, and water bodies; the east mountain is composed of Tianchi, Jiuxi 18 streams, and rocks; the west mountain is a small hill with a slope for tourists to exercise and cultivate themselves.
