There is an ancient city wall ruins park in Chuansha Town, Pudong New District, Shanghai. After parking my car in the ancient town parking lot, I walked onto the moat bridge. On the left, I saw a section of the ancient city wall from the Ming Dynasty standing tall by the river. The ancient city wall was built in 1557 to resist Japanese pirates. The city wall is about 2 kilometers long and 4 meters high. Only about 80 meters of the southeast section remain. Entering the park and coming to the city wall, you can see
Inside the Yuebei Pavilion on the ancient city wall, there is a stone tablet with Yue Fei's handwriting printed on it.
There is also a three-story pagoda-shaped building "Kuixing Pavilion" in the southern section of the ancient city wall, which was built to ensure peace in the area.
In order to protect historical relics, the local government has established the Chuansha Ancient City Wall Park at the site of the Chuansha Ancient City Wall. Visitors can climb this rare section of the city wall in Shanghai, stroll on the wall and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
