Hidden Gem in Chuansha Old Town

We moved to a hotel in Chuansha, Shanghai to be closer to the airport, and discovered a hidden gem—Chuansha Old Town (川沙古镇) and we were welcomed by these beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom. This charming historic area offers a peaceful contrast to the bustle of downtown Shanghai, with traditional architecture, quiet streets, and local eateries full of authentic flavor. It’s a great spot for a relaxing stroll and to get a taste of old Shanghai before flying out. Highly recommend staying nearby if you have an early flight and enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom!
