Shanghai|The old house of Rockefeller Family

Went to Shanghai Rockefeller Club for a family meal this time — the environment had a charming, traditional Chinese aesthetic and a lovely ambiance.

"Dragon Soaring the Seas" — Lobster steamed with egg. It retained the rich aroma of the egg while highlighting the lobster’s springy texture.

Pork Ribs with Rice Cakes — The sauce was flavorful, reminiscent of old Shanghai tastes. The ribs weren’t greasy and the rice cakes had a nice crispiness.

Huaiyang-Style Stewed Shredded Tofu — A Huaiyang classic. The tofu shreds were cut super thin and soaked up the broth beautifully — absolutely tasty.

Sesame Pastry (Shaobing) — The crust was just right, flaky and crisp, and the filling was perfectly seasoned. So good!
