A bakery that anyone visiting Shanghai should not miss

One of the delicious spots on our trip is Butterful and Creamorous, a bakery offering both savory and sweet items, all looking very appetizing.

French raspberry cream tart - topped generously with raspberries

Jumbo berry feast Napoleon - this is the second best-selling item at the shop, a tart layered with cream and topped with berries like strawberries and blueberries. It's quite a large piece.

For someone who has tried many desserts, this place is not overly sweet and not cloying. If you come in the morning, you’ll have to queue, but in the evening, there’s almost no line, though some items might be sold out. You can dine in or take away; if you take away, they pack it nicely in a bag and provide utensils.

This branch is the West Nanjing branch. You can take the metro to West Nanjing Station, Exit 4. Just walk a little to the left after exiting, and you’ll find the shop.
