If you have an early flight, choose this place—I really don’t want to be disappointed again

🏨 Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport

This time, to catch a 7 AM flight the next morning, I chose the Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport, and the experience was surprisingly good👀!

🛏 The room was very comfortable
An airport view room, as soon as I entered, it felt very clean and modern, with plenty of space—not one of those cramped transitional hotels.
There was an adjustable desk where I even rushed to finish some work the night before, and the bedside had wireless charging, so I didn’t have to worry about my phone dying in the middle of the night.😁
The best part— you can really see the planes taking off and landing! Not just a gimmick, it’s like you look up and see the runway! It felt amazing, haha.

💡 The lobby is super smart!
Check-in was done via a self-service machine, just a few taps and scanning my ID—no need to queue at all.
Plus, there was a big flight status screen right next to it, so I could check if my flight the next day was delayed while checking in, which made me feel much more at ease👍!

🍴 The dining is also very serious about quality
I didn’t go out at night and ate at the hotel’s Trace·All Day Dining restaurant! Surprisingly delicious (key point: this is the only place inside Pudong Airport that uses open flame cooking, so the taste is reliable).
Breakfast was buffet style with a good variety, and the coffee was great too.
If you bring kids, they even have a free food and accommodation policy for children, making it much easier for parents~

🍸 There’s also a very quiet lobby lounge
After dinner, I passed by, saw they had drinks, and went in to sit for a while.
Having a drink next to the airport is really relaxing, totally different from the stressful vibe of rushing for a flight on a business trip—it felt like I was starting my vacation mode early🕶️.

🚶‍♀️ It’s not far to walk from the hotel to the terminal
The next morning I got up at 5, freshened up, and slowly walked over—less than ten minutes to the terminal, no rush at all! Super close!!

This hotel really made me feel relaxed from start to finish—not only clean and comfortable, but the smart services were very thoughtful, so even with an early flight, I didn’t feel stressed.
Next time I’m on a business trip or going to Disneyland, I’ll definitely stay here again.
