A dreamland for both adults and children, a place you must visit at least once in your lifetime.

On this trip to Shanghai, the highlight was "Shanghai Disneyland." However, coming before the summer vacation inevitably means crowds everywhere. There were lines to enter the park and queues for every attraction. Waiting an hour was considered normal. Fortunately, the weather that day was cooler compared to the past few days in Shanghai, around 30 degrees Celsius, with some light showers that helped cool down the heat (I heard the week before we came it was 39 to 40 degrees~~).

We had summer vacation tickets, but not early bird tickets. We booked through a homestay agent and did not purchase fast passes. Each ticket cost about 2,600+ TWD. To enter, all you need is a Taiwan Compatriot Permit for verification. Without early bird tickets, the park opens at 8:30 AM, but we lined up at 7:30 AM. After a long wait at the entrance, we entered around 9:00 AM. Once inside, we jogged straight to the distant Pirates of the Caribbean ride (about a 10-minute wait), then rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, followed by Zootopia’s Zooming Rally. For lunch, we chose to eat at "Xin Wang Café" in Disneytown, which I highly recommend; it’s a very good Hong Kong-style tea restaurant.

In the afternoon, we went back into the park to ride TRON Lightcycle Power Run, then the Winnie the Pooh storybook ride, and finally Soaring Over the Horizon and Roaring Rapids. In the evening, we watched the famous fireworks show and returned to the homestay by 9:30 PM. Although it was very tiring, walking over 20,000 steps, it was truly a wonderful experience. If you have children and the means, you must take a trip to Disneyland. Tips #XinWangCafe
