On this business trip to Shanghai, I checked in at the Radisson Blu Olympic Club Hotel, and from check-in to check-out, it was full of surprises! This hidden gem in the Sports Park perfectly balances urban convenience with natural tranquility.
🏨Location
Hidden next to the Xujiahui business district "oasis," it’s a 10-minute walk to Shanghai Stadium Metro Station (Lines 1 and 4). For friends going to concerts or sports games—there’s a dedicated shuttle from the hotel! Nearby are shopping and entertainment areas like Star City and Xujiahui Park, making dining, shopping, and fun super convenient.
🛏️Room Experience
I was immediately impressed by the upscale decor! The room facilities are very new, and I especially loved the lazy sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window—staring out at the greenery of the Sports Park is so soothing. The bedding is moderately firm and soft, and the bathroom’s dry and wet separation is very thoughtful (plus a heated towel rack!).
🍽️Food Recommendations
Breakfast lovers can rejoice—there’s a rich selection of Chinese and Western buffet options. Highly recommend the made-to-order omelet and small wontons! For lunch and dinner, try their local Shanghai cuisine; the braised pork belly is rich and authentic (secretly better than some old famous restaurants).
🎾Special Facilities
A must-see for sports enthusiasts! The hotel connects directly to the Sports Park’s tennis courts and swimming pool, and guests receive a fitness experience voucher upon check-in. On weekend mornings, I saw many locals jogging in the park and joined them for a run to feel the morning vibe of Shanghai.
