The nights at The Bund are always special. As the sun gradually sets, the lights along the riverside begin to flicker on one by one, creating the rhythm of the city. The scene of European-style architecture standing side by side with modern skyscrapers looks like a painting where the past and present coexist. On the opposite side, the Oriental Pearl Tower glows in a deep purple hue, symbolizing the heart of Shanghai as it sparkles.
Walking slowly, you can hear the laughter of people, the music of street performances, and the sweet aroma of snacks carried by the breeze—all of which make Shanghai's nights even more vivid. If you lean against the riverside railing for a moment, the lights reflecting on the water shimmer as if they are a stage just for you.
This is not just a tourist spot but a place where you can feel the 'emotions of the city.' During the day, it is bustling and lively, but at night, people slow their pace and find their own moments of leisure amidst the lights. If there is one scene that comes to mind when thinking of Shanghai, it is undoubtedly the night view of The Bund.
