Lai Lai Xiao Long Bao (Steamed Soup Bamboo Shoots) is a must-try in Shanghai

I was looking for dinner nearby and happened to see this highly-rated xiaolongbao (dumpling soup) restaurant. It's been open for over 20 years, so I decided to check it out!
There was already a long line when we arrived, but thankfully, the tables turned over quickly, so it wasn't long before our turn arrived.
We ordered crab roe and fresh meat xiaolongbao, fresh meat and matsutake xiaolongbao, chicken and duck blood soup, and fried pork chop.
Their xiaolongbao are all thin-skinned and generously filled, bursting with broth. They're truly delicious! 🥰🥰🥰
Their ginger vinegar is unique and goes really well with the xiaolongbao.
The fried pork chop has a really crispy skin and is delicious when eaten hot. 🫶🏻
The chicken and duck blood soup is light and delicious with the xiaolongbao! Overall, this is a time-honored restaurant I'll definitely want to revisit 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
