
Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark is located at the southern foot of Taihang Mountain in China, spanning both sides of the Yellow River. It is distributed in the west of Jiyuan City and the north of Xin'an County in Henan Province. It is divided into two parks, Wangwushan and Xiaolangdi, and includes five scenic areas: Tiantan Mountain, Xiaolangdi, Wulongkou, the Yellow River Three Gorges, and Xiaogoubei. It is a comprehensive geopark with typical geological profiles and geological and geomorphological landscapes as the main features, supplemented by paleontological fossils, water landscapes and geological engineering landscapes, and the mutual reflection of ecology and humanities.
It has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with warm and windy springs, hot and rainy summers, clear and cool autumns, and dry, cold, and little snow in winters.
