The Growth Story of Fubao at Shanghai Wild Animal Park

Fubao, the long-tailed leaf monkey at Shanghai Wild Animal Park, has been born for nearly half a year and has completed the transformation from relying on an incubator to adapting to a semi-natural environment. Now, it has entered a new stage of growth, shifting its focus from "survival" to "developing natural behaviors." The care team has created a dedicated activity area for it, equipped with polished perches, cloud ladders, low branches, and novel educational toys to guide it in practicing climbing and jumping. Currently, Fubao can easily leap over a 1-meter-wide gap, using its tail like a balancing pole, full of energy and skillfully mastering climbing and jumping techniques. In terms of diet, Fubao has left the "pure milk phase" and entered a transitional omnivorous stage. In addition to specially formulated nutritious milk, it also eats mulberry leaves, privet leaves, and fruits like apples and grapes, already showing the feeding habits of wild leaf monkeys. After some time, Fubao will return to the Linghou Tiandi group, getting familiar with its peers through fence separation to prepare for integration into the group. Come to Shanghai Wild Animal Park to witness Fubao's growth miracle and feel its boundless vitality!
