Yu Garden Shangai

After the 2023 Chinese New Year holidays, I went to the Lantern Festival held at Yuyuan Shopping Mall in Shanghai. The characteristic of this lantern festival is that it is decorated with glittering lanterns from the entrance gate to the top of the walkway to the main square.
This time, the motif was a traditional Chinese myth from the "Shan Hai Jing". Pic1 shows a rabbit and a legendary large fish called "Kun" jumping into the sky, which is said to represent the Chinese dream of space. Although it has slowed down due to COVID, I still felt the momentum of China.
I went on a weekend night, so there were a lot of people, but it was well managed, so I was able to enter in a short time without confusion.
I was thinking of eating something after entering, but of course there were a lot of people inside, so I gave up this time. If you have time to wait, I think it would be fun to go around and eat. There are also shops famous for Xiaolongbao and famous shops for Tangyuan (boiled dumplings)!
