I had the opportunity to pay homage at Wat Upakut, which is located near the Night Bazaar area in the heart of Chiang Mai. Although it is not a very large temple, the atmosphere is peaceful, shady, and you can feel the sacredness from the first step you take.

Inside the temple, there is Phra Upakut or Luang Pho Upakut, which Chiang Mai people and devotees believe is an arhat with great power and the power to protect from various dangers, especially in terms of kindness, popularity, and luck. Therefore, people often come to pay homage and ask for blessings in work, finances, and business. ✨

The temple also has an old pagoda and beautiful Lanna art. The atmosphere is quiet, suitable for meditation or walking meditation. If anyone wants to recharge their spirits in the city, it is another place worth visiting.

• Near Chang Klan Road, easy to travel.
• In the morning, it is quiet, not many people, suitable for making merit.
• There are flowers, incense, and candles for sale in front of the temple.
