1⃣Shangqiu Guanyi Folk Museum

3⃣Shangqiu·Zhang Xun Temple
✅️During the An-Shi Rebellion, he raised an army to guard Yongqiu and resist the rebels. In the second year of Zhide (757), An Qingxu sent his general Yin Ziqi to lead an army to invade Suiyang, a barrier city between the Yangtze and Huaihe Rivers. Zhang Xun and Xu Yuan defended Suiyang to the death with no food or reinforcements. They fought more than 400 times, causing heavy losses to the rebels. It effectively blocked the rebels' southward advance, blocked the Yangtze and Huaihe Rivers, and ensured the security of the southeastern region of the Tang Dynasty. Eventually, due to the depletion of food and fodder and the death or injury of all soldiers, he was captured and killed. Later he was awarded the title of Grand Commander of Yangzhou and Duke of Deng. In the second year of the Dazhong reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang (848), Zhang Xun's portrait was painted in the Lingyan Pavilion.
