Exploring Shangrao’s Wangxian Valley is an absolute must for anyone craving magic IRL 🌈✨. Whether it’s the serene mornings or the busy, lantern-lit evenings, this spot is incredible.

My pro tip: book a night in the valley! Early mornings are extra dreamy; it’s super quiet, and the stone streets are yours alone. And after sundown, Wangxian transforms. Gujie Night Market springs alive, glowing with food stalls and steamy eats. The whole vibe feels like you’ve walked into Spirited Away: local desserts, sizzling meats, and endless snacks for foodies and night owls alike.

We stayed in Xiansu hotel, and our room was facing directly one of the main squares of the valley (the one in the second picture). It was one of a kind.
