Shangri-La Snow Mountain Sanctuary

Shangri-La Snow Mountain Sanctuary | The Balagezong I want to recommend a thousand times
Life advice: Before leaving Shangri-La, you must go to Balagezong and see with your own eyes this last sanctuary of Shangri-La. It was once a place that couldn't even be found on a map, isolated from the world for over 1300 years
It is also said to be the "lost sanctuary"
Snow-capped mountains, canyons, rivers, glaciers, forests
Here they converge and blend together, it's really rare to find a place that can present so many natural elements all at once
You must go up to the pagoda in Balagezong! You must go up to the pagoda! The view is truly magnificent and stunning
It was the most satisfying experience of my trip to Shangri-La. It is said that the chance of seeing the full view of the pagoda is no less than that of the Sunlight Golden Mountain. This trip to Balagezong was very lucky indeed! If there has to be a downside
Then its only downside is: it's far
It's about a 2-hour drive from the ancient city of Dukezong, and it takes about 1 hour to get up to the pagoda
Planning the whole trip for 1 day will indeed be quite rushed, so you will need to make some trade-offs for some attractions. Sharing our 1-day tour itinerary
Basically, it can include all the scenic spots with better views
