🏵️Song Zhanlin🏵️ Lama Temple of Shangri-La Plateau

Today we are visiting Shangri-La and we can't miss this place.
Songzanlin Monastery (Ganden Sumtseling Monastery 颂赞林寺)
This is the largest Lama temple in Yunnan Province. It was built in 1679 and is 5 kilometers away from the city of Shangri-La. It is over 300 years old and is located on a hill at an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level.

This temple is another important tourist attraction in Shangri-La, China. If you visit Shangri-La and don't stop by Songzanlin Monastery, it's like you haven't been to Shangri-La. Today we chose to rent traditional costumes in the old city, complete with makeup, to visit and take photos here. Renting costumes is very convenient and costs only 300 to 500 baht. If you want a beautiful atmosphere and pictures, you can't miss renting costumes like this.

This temple is Tibetan art and there are still many devotees visiting every year. Amulets here are another thing that you can't miss buying to take back with you, in addition to the beautiful photos outside.
