Walking Tour of Zhongdian Ancient Town, Shangri-La

One of the popular activities for tourists visiting Shangri-La is renting traditional ethnic costumes to take photos at various locations around the city. This is a must-visit spot when you arrive in Shangri-La.

This is Zhongdian Ancient Town, also known as Dukezong. It is an ancient town filled with shops housed in traditional architecture, preserving the classic charm of its streets. Wearing traditional costumes while taking photos here makes for stunning pictures.

Additionally, this area is home to a temple with a large golden prayer wheel, a popular spot for making wishes. The temple, called Dafo Temple, features a massive golden prayer wheel perched on a hill. It is believed that spinning the wheel three times will make your wishes come true.
