1️⃣ Mount Victoria: A must-visit attraction in Auckland. Take a ferry from Auckland Wharf to Devonport Harbor, then walk 20 minutes to reach the summit of Mount Victoria. Here, you can see Auckland’s beautiful city skyline, and on the other side, the volcanic Rangitoto Island, offering charming scenery. If you can’t catch the ferry before sunset, consider visiting West Haven Harbor from the city; the densely packed sailboats on the dock look special under the evening glow.
2️⃣ Auckland Zoo: As one of New Zealand’s larger zoos, its star attraction is naturally the national treasure—the Kiwi, since this adorable creature is still hard to see outside New Zealand.
