Ding! The Running Man-Inspired Sheep Herding Experience Card | A Healing Retreat in Shangri-La

How do I put it? I never expected that my second trip to Shangri-La would be so different. Though I visited Napa Lake again, choosing this place made the entire experience way more fun than last time!

In the morning, goats would come right up to the cabin door, acting all familiar—munching on grass while nudging you affectionately. During breakfast, we even saw the Hong Kong owner shooing mischievous goats out of the yard, their curious peeking making them unbearably cute 😆.

Pushing open the door, the view of Napa Lake unfolds before you. From dawn till dusk, all sorts of little animals roam freely across this vast pasture, as relaxed as if it were their own backyard—literally my dream ranch life!

And around 7 or 8 p.m., I was lucky enough to witness hundreds of horses grazing by the lakeside, having trotted in from afar. As someone who loves horseback riding, I was utterly mesmerized. I stood on the opposite shore, staring in awe for what felt like ages 🥹. Who else gets this lucky, fam? T.T

The yard is also home to three super-friendly dogs named Coffee, Black Bean, and Milk Tea 🙈. No wonder Running Man chose this spot for filming—the producers have impeccable taste 🤩. After checking in, I didn’t even feel the need to visit other attractions. Just staying at the hotel all day was soul-soothing enough 🥰.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit, hoping to see the expanded Phase 2 pasture—bigger and better 🧚.
