This morning is quieter than usual… and our hearts are calmer than ever.

Waking up in a room with morning light shining through the thin curtains and reflecting on the wooden tea table by the window… is something simple, but strangely warm. ☁️☕

This is Shangri-La Resort, Shangri-La in Yunnan Province, China — a small town on a highland filled with the charm of Tibetan culture and tangible silence.

The rooms are simply decorated, combining Chinese-Tibetan style with resort-style comfort. Natural wooden furniture, window seats, and a small tea table have become our favorite corner. 🍂

The view may not be of snowy mountains or a sea of ​​fog, but rather old buildings, pipes, and the untouched atmosphere of the city, as if telling us that “happiness does not always have to be perfect.”

The bed is soft, the blankets are warm, and the room is so quiet that you can hear your own breathing — it’s so good for the heart that you don’t even have to try.

The staff are smiling, speak English, and pay attention to small details. It’s like they know that each guest comes here to “rest their mind”, not just their body.
