โตรกเสือกระโจน (Tiger Leaping Gorge)

This gorge is where the Jinsha River (a tributary of the Yangtze River) flows between high cliffs and is a key attraction on the Dali-Shangri-La-Lijiang route. (The color of the water depends on the season; during the rainy season, it's murky, while from January to April, it's aquamarine.)
- Located approximately 60 km north of Lijiang City.
- Located approximately 114 km from Shangri-La.

Tourists can choose to visit both ways from Shangri-La. Alternatively, if time permits, they can hike (another popular hiking route). Enjoy nature, coffee, mountain views, and stay overnight at Halfway/Tina's Guesthouses.

To get there, you can take a bus from Lijiang Bus Station, or rent a car or share a ride.

Tiger Leaping Gorge entrance fee is 65 yuan.

Additional fees for the escalator up and down are 100 yuan (can be purchased separately). The uphill climb is 65 yuan, and the downhill climb is 35 yuan.
