Located in Jiangdu City, the former residence of Xu Xiaoxuan officially opened to the public in September 1997. It is a major tourist attraction in Jiangdu City and a venue for patriotic education. The plaque above the main entrance, "Xu Xiaoxuan's Former Residence," was inscribed by General Zhang Aiping, former Minister of National Defense.

Xu Xiaoxuan lived and studied here for 20 years. To deeply commemorate Xu Xiaoxuan's great achievements and promote his spirit, the Jiangdu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have systematically and systematically implemented a project to restore Xu Xiaoxuan's former residence since 1996. His gaze reveals a resolute determination, a firm belief that the enemy is doomed to fail and the revolution will triumph.

With a subtropical monsoon climate, Xu Xiaoxuan's former residence is a residential building with three courtyards and four wings. It is built with blue bricks and small tiles, and is simple and solemn. It is suitable for travel in all seasons.

The exhibition of the life and deeds of martyr Xu Xiaoxuan is displayed in six rooms of his former residence, along the walls. It consists of more than 100 precious photos, more than 10 relics of the martyr and a group of sculptures. It is divided into five parts: "Boyhood", "Joining the Revolution", "Struggle in Prison", "Heroic Sacrifice" and "Glory for Thousands of Years", which vividly reproduce the glorious and short life of the martyr.
