My hiking adventure on Qiyun Mountain was interrupted by a sudden downpour 🌧️, and my camping plans were dashed. However, I unexpectedly had an unforgettable stay. 😭 At the desolate and boundless entrance to the mountain in Sishun Township, just as I was feeling hopeless, Qiyun Valley Homestay appeared like a beacon of salvation, lighting my way forward.
I drove 56 km along winding mountain roads just to see it. Qiyun Valley Homestay lies quietly in the embrace of Qiyun Mountain in Shangyou County, just a stone's throw from the mountain entrance, as if nature had reserved a safe haven just for me.
As soon as I stepped into this place, all my fatigue and coldness disappeared. The homestay is well-equipped, especially the thoughtful laundry and drying area, which is a blessing for travelers caught in the rain.
Inside the room, the novel furniture and warm lighting instantly relaxed me, as if I had returned to the embrace of home.
The warm hospitality of the owner made me feel the warmth of home. They not only provided thoughtful service but also prepared farmhouse dishes with care. Every dish 🥩 exuded authentic rural flavors, and the prices were so affordable that they were touching.
Speaking of the homestay's specialties, I must mention the homemade bayberry wine. The sweet fruit aroma and slightly intoxicating wine intertwine, and one sip is both refreshing and invigorating, leaving a lasting impression.
Although I was too tired that night to savor every detail of the room, the comfort and satisfaction from within were enough for me to strongly recommend it to every traveler.
Room rates range from RMB 268 to over RMB 500, with a variety of room types to choose from, so there's always one that will touch your heart.
