This is a village on the west side of the Taihang Mountains, built on the Loess Plateau. The village produces alum stone for making bricks, so most of the houses are built with kiln bricks produced in the village. Under the sunlight, the whole village appears warm yellow.
📍Sandu Village is located in Yinying Town, Suburban District, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, in eastern Shanxi, in the middle of the Taihang Mountains, on the western slope. The village is located in a loess hilly area about 2 km long, with Mount Liu Bei to the south and Taiqing Spring in front. It has been known as "better than Jiangnan" since ancient times.
