Recommended Hostel in Shaoxing, China

💚 Little Forest Hostel 小森林环保旅舍

During my 2-day trip to Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province, China, I stayed at the Little Forest Hostel 小森林环保旅舍. It was an excellent choice with great value for money, comfortable facilities, and friendly staff. If I visit Shaoxing again, I will definitely stay here again.

I booked Little Forest Hostel 小森林环保旅舍 through Trip.com, and the price for a bed in a 6-person female dormitory was 14,500 KRW per night. However, I used my saved Trip Coins to pay, so I stayed for free, which made me very happy. Despite the low price, the facilities exceeded my expectations. In fact, they were much better than some European hostels where I paid 60-80 euros per night for a 12-person dormitory.

I was assigned a lower bunk in the 6-person female dormitory, and on the day I stayed, there were only three guests in total, making it relatively quiet and comfortable. Each room is equipped with a bathroom, shower, personal lockers, and indoor slippers. Additionally, on the second-floor hallway, there is a locker with free amenities available for use. The price is incredibly affordable, and they even provide Chinese-style soy milk (豆浆) and bread for breakfast! With such services and facilities at a price of around 10,000 KRW, the value for money is unbelievable.

Moreover, the first floor of the hostel is a bookstore, giving off a literary vibe. Although I didn’t read any books, I felt smarter just being there. On the second and third floors, you can look out the windows to see lush green trees, which is truly relaxing. It made me realize why this hostel is named "Little Forest."

If I visit Shaoxing again, I will definitely stay at this hostel. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly accommodation in Shaoxing, I highly recommend Little Forest Hostel 小森林环保旅舍 🇨🇳💚
