Shaoxing Ancient Fiber Road, Anchang Ancient Town, and Lu Xun's Former Residence in Time

Recently, I heard the news that the ancient fiber road at Shaoxing Yangcha Lake (Angsang Lake) is closed for maintenance, which brought back memories of my trip to Shaoxing 11 years ago. On that trip, I visited three places: the third batch of national protected ancient fiber roads, the relatively less popular Anchang Ancient Town, and "Brother Xun's" former residence.
.
Back then, there were no travel bloggers everywhere, no overwhelming "pretending to be somewhere xxx," and no cool drone shots... Although the weather was gloomy that day, with only the two of us on the ancient town fiber road, my mood was bright.
.
The next day, we went to Brother Xun's house, where his statue stood at the door, and it seemed there was no cigarette portrait on the wall yet. That year, the trend was "traveling Shaoxing following the textbook," but after visiting, I realized it was "deceptive." There were no beautiful snakes in the Hundred Herb Garden, maybe scared away by the crowds of tourists... This was my first encounter with Shaoxing.
.
Later, I read the following poem and comment from a netizen:
"Jianhu and Yuetai, hometown of scholars,
Worrying for the country, heartbroken.
Jian Nan's song connects with autumn wind chants,
A misty aura enters the poetry bag."
With 2,500 years of historical and cultural heritage, Jiangnan with character is half as clear as water and half as strong as wine. The city's spirit is brave and refined, with outstanding character and elegance.
