[Shiretoko Five Lakes] World Heritage Site🌏

🏖️Overview:
The Shiretoko Five Lakes💦 are five large and small lakes and ponds at the foot of the Shiretoko Mountain Range, named from Lake 1 to Lake 5. They are one of the most representative tourist destinations in Shiretoko, a World Heritage Site. They are also home to many wild animals, and you can see rare plants and animals🦅 and traces of brown bears🐻.

💞Reasons why we recommend it:
The Shiretoko Five Lakes have a calm atmosphere no matter when you visit, and the Shiretoko Mountains reflected in the lakes and ponds are very beautiful. I have visited in different seasons, but I prefer the fresh green🍃 of summer to the snowy winter scenery❄️. Before going to the Shiretoko Five Lakes, we took a course at the field house, and I was frightened when I heard about bears. I was also surprised when I suddenly came across a wild deer🦌. I also definitely recommend visiting on a sunny☀️ day.

✈️From Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport
🚌Take Nemuro Kotsu Bus to Nakashibetsu Bus Terminal
🚌Change to Akan Bus to Rausu.
