If you come to Shenyang, you must stay at this affordable hotel

Shenyang Marriott Hotel: A Comfortable and Convenient Accommodation Choice

For my second trip to Shenyang, I chose the Marriott Hotel as my accommodation.

The hotel is located near Shenyang North Railway Station, which is a great location. The taxi fare to Shenyang Imperial Palace and MixC is basically the starting price, making it very convenient to travel.

I was lucky to get a suite upgrade during my stay. It has a standard suite layout, and the living room has a guest bathroom. The most impressive thing about the hotel is the excellent lighting. The decoration style uses bright and simple wooden elements, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere in the cold winter, which is pleasant.

Looking out from the room, you can see the cityscape full of fireworks. Although there are some stains on the outside of the glass, it does not affect the overall view. In terms of room facilities, the Philips TV has a clear signal, providing a good visual experience for leisure time. Although the living room lighting adjustment is slightly simple, with only on and off states, the living room is thoughtfully equipped with an air purifier, and the bedroom also has a Philips humidifier for use. The bedroom lighting adjustment is relatively reasonable. After the main light is turned off, the light emitted by the bedside lamp is just right, soft and suitable. The mattress is moderately firm, providing good support for the body and ensuring a comfortable sleep experience. The bathroom and bedroom are designed as an open space, separated by a sliding door. On the first day of check-in, the sliding door malfunctioned and could not be closed. However, after contacting guest services, the hotel quickly arranged for a technician to come and repair it, and the problem was solved satisfactorily. The hotel provides Marriott's unified thisworks toiletries, which are not particularly amazing, but the smell is acceptable. It is worth mentioning that the air conditioning in the room runs with low noise, which does not interfere with sleep.

The hotel's breakfast is also commendable. Not only is the quality good, but it also offers special local delicacies such as lamb soup and glutinous rice rolls with sweet bean flour, allowing guests to taste the local flavors. The restaurant has good lighting, and the distant chimneys add a unique atmosphere to the dining environment. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and greets guests proactively, but they are slightly lacking in providing suggestions for dining and entertainment in the surrounding area. If you plan to stay for consecutive nights, it is recommended to turn on the do not disturb function, as the hotel's cleaning service will knock on the door on time every morning.

Overall, if you prioritize visiting Shenyang Imperial Palace or shopping, and you like a bright style of accommodation, then Shenyang Marriott Hotel is undoubtedly a good choice.
