Shenyang, a beautiful northern city, was my first visit, and I wanted to fully experience its charm in April. Arriving near dusk, my first stop after landing was the Shangri-La Hotel I had booked.
đ
Traveling alone can feel a bit lonely, especially as a woman. For solo trips, I prioritize safety, comfort, and convenience, and choosing the right hotel is the most important part of my journey. After comparing several options, I ultimately chose the Shangri-La Hotelâand it was absolutely the right decision. It had everything I wanted for my trip.

The cityâs blue-hour streetscape held a uniquely warm beauty in my eyes. I entered the Shangri-La during this magical time, wheeling my luggage into the spacious, bright lobby. The staff warmly greeted me and escorted me to the front desk, where the receptionistâs sweet smile was instantly comforting.
đ
My room was on a high floor with a great view. Opening the window revealed the cityâs vibrant nightscape, with colorful lights showcasing its modernity and energy. Watching the scene through the sheer curtains was like gazing at a paintingâI couldnât bear to close them all night. Having such a stunning urban view in my room felt like a stroke of luck on a solo journey.
đ
Having stayed at Shangri-La hotels in different cities, Iâve always had a great impression of the brand. The Shenyang Shangri-La lived up to my expectations: the room was cozy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the toiletries high-end. A delicate fragrance lingered in the airâromantic and soothing, adding a touch of elegance to my solo trip. Sometimes, the little things, like a lovely scent, are all a woman needs for a sense of ritual.
đ
I chose this hotel mainly for its convenient location near major attractions. Situated at the intersection of Qingnian Street and Wenyi Road, itâs just a 5-minute walk to MixC Mall and a 10-minute taxi ride to Shenyang Imperial Palace and Zhongjie. The Line 2 subway is right outside the hotel, making it incredibly efficient for getting around.

The hotelâs breakfast buffet was a feast, offering a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, including Northeastern specialties. Waking up naturally, I could simply freshen up and head to the restaurant for a delicious meal before returning to my room to get readyâa perfect routine for any woman.
đĽ With the May Day holiday approaching, Shenyang is a beautiful and modern destination in Northeast China. Whether youâre traveling with kids or elderly parents, the Shangri-La Hotel is an excellent choice. Sharing my genuine experienceâno exaggeration, just real feelings.
