Shenzhen cuisine 🫖 Huaiyang cuisine combining classic and creative elements

Of course you have to eat Chinese food when you come to Shenzhen. Before returning to Hong Kong, we went to Xiangleyuan🫖 on the second floor of the hotel and had a rich lunch. The restaurant specializes in exquisite and creative Huaiyang cuisine, which is the most surprising and unforgettable meal during the trip😋

The restaurant has a comfortable environment, and large floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy the 🌳trees and street views, giving you a warm home🏡 feeling. The restaurant also has private rooms, which provide maximum privacy. Fortunately, we had reserved a seat early in the morning, and the restaurant was full soon after we started eating. The restaurant also thoughtfully provides 🫖 tea reception and comfortable seats for guests waiting to be seated, so that guests can enjoy tea while waiting👍🏻

It’s a rare opportunity to come here, so of course I have to try the limited-time dishes with the theme of "mushrooms"🍄, which are designed by the restaurant's executive chef, Master Dong Yuzhen.

Morels are commonly used in French cuisine, but I never thought they could be used in Chinese cuisine. The morels are full of aroma and stuffed with chewy hand-beaten shrimp paste 🦐, which tastes fresh and delicious. The belly of catfish is very plump, with a springy, smooth and chewy texture, which is very delicious.

I didn’t expect that mushrooms🍄 can make so many delicious dishes. There are many limited-time dishes that I want to try, but I can’t finish them. Fortunately, the limited-time dishes are still available until October 6, so I can come back to taste them if I have the chance😋
