Purple Lavender Journey in Huocheng, Xinjiang

Travel Dates: June 7-9
Navigation Location: Princess Wuyou Lavender Farm in Huanghuang Village, Huocheng, Xinjiang (Note: This is different from Princess Wuyou Lavender Garden—do not navigate to the wrong place)

Accommodation: Huanghuang Village has many homestays. We stayed at Purple May Homestay, which is newly renovated with a very friendly hostess. An elderly lady in their family makes delicious hand-pulled noodles, and breakfast is included.

Shopping: The village offers many lavender products—pillows, sachets, essential oils—all natural and excellent. The lavender pillow kept our room fragrant for a whole year.

Itinerary & Photo Spots:
Day 1: Drive to Huanghuang Village homestay. In the afternoon, purchase tickets (recommend the combo ticket with shuttle service) to enter the lavender fields—an endless purple ocean at Princess Wuyou Lavender Farm. Shoot until sunset, then return to the homestay. Explore the village at night and enjoy barbecue.

Day 2: Head back to Princess Wuyou Lavender Farm around 7 AM for sunrise photos. Then drive to other lavender fields in the village—swings, snow-capped mountains, and countless photo spots to suit all tastes. Lunch at village food stalls. In the evening, visit another vast lavender sea behind the village. Return to the homestay for dinner at local restaurants.

Day 3: Depart Huanghuang Village, concluding the purple journey.
