#ShenzhenItinerary
We chose to arrive at Dapeng Fortress in the evening, so it was less crowded, but many shops were closed. There were many seafood restaurants with different set menus, and the prices were quite reasonable. We went to a highly rated restaurant and the bill for two people came to around $400. The seafood was indeed good.
Dapeng Fortress is the only nationally protected cultural relic site in Shenzhen. Its many city walls, fortifications, and alleyways bear witness to its rich history. You can experience the charm of local village life, with its beautiful, empty streets, ancient buildings, and various ancient architectural structures. It's a comfortable place, offering a unique glimpse into the past. The walk takes about an hour, and we can then go to the beach. There were many people setting off fireworks, which was very lively.
