As the morning light breaks, I drive to Rose Coast, a hidden beach on the Dapeng Peninsula, renowned for its pristine white sands and azure waters. I tread on the soft sand, with waves gently lapping at my ankles, the air filled with a faint salty scent and the warmth of the sun. On the shore, a European-style wedding chapel stands quietly, with several couples taking wedding photos, adding a touch of romance to the beach.

In the afternoon, I head to Jiaochangwei, a nearby coastal town that retains the original fishing village charm while blending modern art and design. Colorful shops, handmade coffee houses, and inns hidden in the alleys all exude a strong artistic vibe. I choose a small bar facing the sea, order a special cocktail, and watch the twilight merge with the horizon, experiencing the tranquility and poetry of another side of Shenzhen.
