The Fusion of Modernity and Nature—Shenzhen Civic Center and Gankeng Ancient Town

In the morning, I visited the Shenzhen Civic Center, a building characterized by its modern design and a symbol of Shenzhen's urban development. The streamlined shape and high-tech appearance of the Civic Center make the entire structure look grand and futuristic. In the plaza, people are either exercising, walking, or even playing music in the open space. This leisurely and vibrant atmosphere made me deeply feel the vitality and energy of the city. The Civic Center is not only a place for administration and culture but also a part of the daily life of Shenzhen residents. In the afternoon, I went to Gankeng Ancient Town. This old town has preserved a large number of traditional buildings, making one feel as if they have traveled back in time. The narrow and winding streets of the ancient town are lined with elegant old houses and small shops, exuding a strong nostalgic atmosphere. Walking through the ancient town, I was captivated by the cultural ambiance, especially the quaint street snacks, which made me feel the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Every detail here seems to tell stories of the past, making one stop and savor the moment.
