This time I came to the Shenzhen Museum to see the "Ji Jin Chun Qiu - Bronze Exhibition", which was really worth it! Even a layman like me was shocked by the beauty of bronze ware! The exhibition is on the 2nd floor (free, and there is also an electronic manual).
"The bronzes in the Shenzhen Museum are not the most exquisite artifacts, but this exhibition strives to tell the story of bronzes from all aspects and perspectives... I hope that these bronzes are like small windows that allow more viewers to glimpse into the material life and inner world of the ancients." From this point of view, the exhibition at Shenzhen Museum is quite good. The various shapes, intricate patterns and decorations allow people to feel the wisdom and aesthetic taste of skilled craftsmen thousands of years ago, as well as the luxurious life of kings and generals in the past.
The way the exhibition is presented is also great, with interactive installations, animations, and images, which makes it particularly interesting to visit. PS: I haven’t been to the old museum for a long time, and I completely forgot how to get there. I walked around for a long time after exiting the subway before I found the Tongxin Road underground passage and went through it. Friends who are going to the exhibition, please be careful not to go to the wrong place! If I have any suggestions, I hope the old museum can consider designing some interesting activities to increase the audience's sense of participation. It would be great if the representative bronze artifacts on display could be printed on postcards for sale! !
