Nankai Park 🌳🌆🍃

We arrived at Nankai Park as the sun dipped low, the sky turning soft shades of peach and violet while the air stayed warm and heavy. The walking paths glowed under old lanterns, and the lake mirrored the last light of day, broken only by the slow glide of paddle boats 🚣♀️🌇🕯️. The scent of lotus and damp earth hung in the air, mingling with the faint sound of music from a nearby square where couples practiced slow dances under the trees 🎶🩰🌸.

We strolled without direction, passing elders playing chess, friends sharing sunflower seeds, and kids chasing each other in circles that never seemed to end. Cicadas hummed their steady song, a summer soundtrack that belonged to dusk. Nankai Park felt like the city’s pause button a quiet stretch of green where night arrived gently, and no one seemed in a rush to go home. 🌌🕊️✨
