Is Dubai safe to travel to?

After the plane landed, my concerns were dispelled a lot. It was convenient to enter the country. I just followed the signs to get a taxi. The taxis were also very formal. Taxis at the airport are more expensive, with a starting price of 25 dirhams. I downloaded Google map in advance and told the driver to follow the route. From the hotel I stayed in to pedestrians I met on the road asking for directions, they were all very friendly. The city was in good order. I played for a total of 7 days, and my impression of the city got better every day, except that the prices were a bit high, such as 45 dirhams for beef noodles and 18 dirhams for Sprite. It might be because I was traveling to popular attractions such as Dubai Mall, the old castle market near the Burj Al Arab, and the old city of Al seef, but I didn't find where ordinary people live.
Some of Dubai's attractions are concentrated in the city. It is very convenient to take the subway. You can buy a nol card at the machine at the subway station. The cost is 6 dirhams, but it is troublesome to return the card when you leave. If you want to experience it, you can buy a ride. A silver card is enough. I personally think it is convenient to take a taxi. There are many taxis on the road. Just wave your hand to stop. Many people recommend using careem. I downloaded it but didn't use it. I just waved on the roadside. The other half of Dubai's fun is to stay in hotels. There are many luxury hotels in Palm Island, and there are many choices. It is also worth staying for a few more days to enjoy the sea breeze and sun, but the beach is average. The best beaches are still near the Burj Al Arab and the Castle Hotel. You get what you pay for. This time I booked the Marriott Resort on Palm Island, and I was also surprised. It is very cost-effective, very new, luxurious, and the service and facilities are first-class.
