A Relaxing Escape at UrCove By Hyatt (Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Center)

Last weekend, I had the chance to take a much-needed break at UrCove By Hyatt (Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Center), and it turned out to be the perfect escape! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease, thanks in no small part to Coco at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing—patiently walking me through how to use all the technology in the room and ensuring we were comfortable while waiting for our room. Her kindness and professionalism made such a lasting impression—Coco, you’re a superstar!

The hotel is in a prime location, right next to the newly opened K11 Mall, which is perfect for dining, shopping, and just wandering around. Plus, the Tai Zi Wan MTR station (Exit B1) is just a quick crossing away, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions. I even ventured to the nearby Sea World Center, which is only one MTR stop away. It’s such a lively area with plenty to see and do—it’s hard not to fall in love with the vibrant energy of Shekou!

One of my favorite things about the hotel was its library café vibe. I spent hours in the lobby, curled up with a good book and sipping on coffee from their café. The package I booked included one coffee and access to the breakfast buffet, both of which were delightful. As a sweet surprise, the hotel even provided a midnight snack—a small but thoughtful gesture that made me smile.

The room itself was absolutely perfect: spacious, clean, and cozy. The massive screen in the room was such a treat—I loved relaxing and watching movies at the end of the day. It felt like the perfect mix of modern comfort and thoughtful design.

This trip wasn’t about rushing around; it was about slowing down, enjoying ocean views, and finding moments of peace. UrCove By Hyatt delivered in every way. I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and grateful for the experience.
