[Shenzhen] If you're in Shenzhen and want to try Chaozhou cuisine, I recommend going to Chen Pengpeng Chaoshan Cuisine.

[Shenzhen] If you're craving Teochew cuisine in Shenzhen, I recommend Chen Pengpeng Teochew Cuisine.

While searching for lunch at Happy Coast, I stumbled upon this Teochew restaurant and was eager to try it! Teochew restaurants are rare in Hong Kong these days, and they're relatively expensive. So, when I saw this Teochew restaurant in Shenzhen, I decided to give it a try.

The restaurant's atmosphere is typical of Teochew restaurants, with round tables and a very atmospheric décor. Although the kitchen is right next to it, there's no fumes.

Whenever you visit a Teochew restaurant, you'll definitely want to order the braised broth platter, braised goose, or leek and duck blood. The flavors are perfectly balanced, not overpowering.

Recommended Dishes:

Chaoshan Specialty Clay Pot Congee: Filled with shrimp and clams, the broth base is incredibly rich.

Gold Medal Braised Goose Platter: The braised goose is not overpowering, paired with a poached egg—excellent!

Vitality Pork Knuckle and Leek and Goose Blood Casserole: Side dishes priced at ¥27 each, and very delicious!
