Shikoku Karst

Shikoku Karst stretches across the border between Ehime Prefecture and Kochi Prefecture. This karst plateau, located at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,500 meters, is one of Japan's three major karst landscapes.

The scenery here is reminiscent of Switzerland, offering breathtaking views and opportunities to enjoy nature. The green meadows are dotted with white limestone rocks, and grazing cows add a pastoral charm to the area.

Driving or touring through the 360-degree panoramic views is highly recommended! Each season brings its own unique beauty: fresh greenery in spring, Hime lilies and Hankai daisies in summer, silver grass in autumn, and snowy landscapes in winter.

At Tengu Plateau, you can experience a sea of clouds, a star-filled night sky, and hiking along the Forest Therapy Road.
