Shirahama Ohama Beach @Shimoda, Shizuoka

Shirahama Beach is a recommended beach in the Kanto area 🌊

As the name suggests, the sand is white, so it contrasts beautifully with the blue sea ✨

Ikonahime Shrine (Shirahama Shrine) on the beach was also beautiful with its vermilion torii gates shining against the blue sky ⛩

It's close to the Izu and Shimoda areas, so it's recommended for summer vacation outings! It's also nice to go to the famous Shuzenji Temple!

It's easier to access by car, but if you're taking the train, take the Super View Odoriko from Shinjuku to Izukyu-Shimoda Station 🚈

It can be accessed by bus in about 20 minutes from Izukyu-Shimoda Station 🚌
