The probability of encountering a sea of clouds in the early morning during the season is about 30-40%.

We left Sapporo late at night to catch a glimpse of the sea of clouds, which never shows the same expression twice!

It's best to arrive with plenty of time, as there will be a long line for the gondola.

The best time to see the sea of clouds is between 5 and 6 o'clock.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the sea of clouds that day, but the sunrise and the view from the gondola were spectacular.

We even saw some deer from the gondola♪

Even in summer, the Unkai Terrace is cool because of its high altitude. Don't forget to wear warm clothes♪

The Unkai Terrace for 2023 ended in October. Please try the sea of clouds again next year♪

It will open as the Frost Terrace from December 1st.
