[Hokkaido] RISONARE Tomamu | Sea of Clouds Terrace

I stayed at RISONARE Tomamu and went to see the sea of clouds! ☀️

Unfortunately, the sea of clouds didn't appear this time, but I was able to see a beautiful view, so I wanted to share it! ❣️

Apparently, the conditions for the sea of clouds to appear are a clear night with little wind and a large temperature difference between the previous day and the morning of the event.

While the former was met, the latter condition wasn't met this time, so it seems we weren't able to see it. 💦

First, we took the gondola up to the summit.

The first thing we found at the end of the gondola was the Cloud Cafe!

It was quite cold since we were on top of a mountain, but we decided to have a Cloud Soda since we were there. 🫧

There's an indoor dining area, so you can enjoy it in the warmth!

After that, we headed for the Cloud Pool, walking along the decks along the mountain path.

Each deck offers a unique view from a different angle, so I recommend checking them out one by one. ✨

We arrived at the Cloud Pool just as the sun was rising.
The Cloud Pool is a giant, cloud-shaped hammock-like spot where you can take photos that make it look like you're floating on clouds. 📸

The view from there was so beautiful I'll never forget it.

Of course, you'd be lucky if you could see the sea of clouds, but even if you don't, you'll still be satisfied. This is a must-visit spot!
