The Unkai Terrace is an observation facility where you can get a close-up look at the dynamic sea of clouds that flows in when the weather conditions are just right.
It's a shame it's not open during the cold season.

The view of the sea of clouds flowing over the mountains and covering the entire surface before your eyes is truly a breathtaking sight.

The floating deck reaches the top floor, approximately 12 meters high, offering a wider view of the spectacular natural scenery, including the sea of clouds stretching into the distance, the Hidaka Mountains, and the sunrise directly in front of you.

The various vantage points from which you can view the sea of clouds are impressive.

Cloud Walk
A cloud-shaped observation spot where you can feel like you're walking on clouds.

Contour Bench
A 117-meter-long bench, designed to resemble contour lines and take advantage of the natural terrain.

Cloud Pool
A giant cloud-shaped hammock-like observation spot.

Cloud Bed
An observation spot inspired by the cloud particles that make up clouds.

Cloud Bar
An observation spot designed like a bar counter, offering spectacular views of the sea of clouds and sunrises.

Cloud Round
This observation spot opened in July 2025. Sit on a bench hanging from a curved frame and enjoy watching the clouds drift by from various angles. Located at the highest point, it offers an unbeatable view.

Not only are the sea of clouds spectacular, but the sunrise is also breathtakingly beautiful. ✨
