Shiniu Mountain is located in Shuikou Town, northeast of Dehua County, Fujian Province, about 40 kilometers from the county seat, 150 kilometers from Quanzhou City, 176 kilometers from Xiamen, and 195 kilometers from Fuzhou City. At an altitude of 1782 meters, it is named after the main peak that the boulder is like a roaring cow looking up to the sky.

Shiniu Mountain is a typical and complete radial volcanic collapse basin. It has rich geological relic resources such as latent volcanic landforms. It is one of the two radial altea volcanic craters in China. Shiniu Mountain is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a national geopark and a forest park. It is known as "the first strange stone mountain in the world" and "the first mountain in the eight Fujianes".

Explored 石壺殿 on Shi Niu Mountain, accessed effortlessly via a scenic cable car journey to the summit. The panoramic views during the ascent were truly mesmerizing, enhancing the overall experience of reaching this mountaintop gem.
