When you go to Shiping, don't miss this underestimated ancient village of Zhengying. Zhengying Village, located on the shore of Chirui Lake in Baoxiu Town, Shiping County, Honghe Prefecture, has a history of more than 600 years. The ancient banyan pond in the village is gurgling, and the mountains behind the village are densely forested. The three streets and nine alleys named after surnames and geographical environment, the ancestral halls, pavilions, schools and typical residential buildings form a unique historical and cultural feature. It is hard to imagine that there is a Jiangnan hidden in such a remote village.
The beams, brackets, screen doors and windows of the residential buildings in Zhengying Ancient Village are all finely crafted. The traditional architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the local ethnic characteristics blend together to create a unique atmosphere. Among them, the carvings and murals of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall are rare masterpieces among the many Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings in China and are well preserved. Families who like architecture must not miss it~
Travel tips: The ancient village is 10km away from the county seat. It is recommended to drive there by yourself, or you can charter a car, but it must include round-trip travel.

Zhengying is famous for its hairy crabs and there are many farmhouses around it, so there is basically no problem with eating and drinking.
