[Wakayama] Shirahama Underwater Observatory Coral Princess

This all-weather observation tower, located adjacent to Hotel Seamore, is approximately 100 meters offshore. It's approximately 18 meters high and 8 meters deep.
Descending the stairs leads to the ocean floor, 8 meters below sea level.
Through the tower's 12 large round windows, you can see tropical fish swimming freely, as well as rare species like moray eels peeking out from cracks in the rocks.
While visibility isn't great, it was fun to be able to see the ocean without having to dive.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the view from the observation deck. ✨
