: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : If you depart from Nagoya, the journey is long (5 hours round trip) and the ticket is more expensive…😵💫
⭐️Visit and time budget
Shirakawa-go is a vast area, depending on whether you want to have a quick tour or an in-depth tour~ Most tourists who come back on the same day focus on sightseeing in the Ogimachi area, such as the observatory, Wada House, Kanda House, Nagase House and other famous attractions.
➰Flash Tour: If you just visit these places and eat light meals, it can actually be completed in about 2-3 hours.
➰Leisure Tour: I slowly strolled around the main attractions of Ogimachi that day, and also went to the Gassho Minkaen on the other side of the river. It took me more than 4 hours in total.
➰In-depth tour: If you plan to go to a distant place (such as Shirakawa Onsen), it is recommended to stay at least 5 hours/stay overnight~
When I came here on March 25, only the distant snow-capped mountains were left unmelted😂I hope to have the opportunity to come again in autumn/winter🫶🏻
